Learning & Exploring
MONTESSORI with Dandelion Learning Collaborative @ Puckett Acres!
ELEMENTARY |
CLASSES
Tuesdays and/or Thursdays 9:30am – 12:30pm
September-June
Cost: $175 per month (for Tuesday OR Thursday) & $350 per month for Tuesday AND Thursday). $150 non-refundable fee due upon registration.
As with TEEN programs, our time will be spent on the farm:
“Puckett Acres” is situated on 10-acre farm in Wake Forest NC, just outside of Rolesville. With animal pastures, gardens, and untouched native pine forests on the property, there are many options for learning and exploration!
What kinds of activities can my elementary child look forward to?
Similar to the TEENS program, but geared toward a younger mindset, we start our time together setting our intentions for the day/week. We share rotating farm chores — getting to know the donkeys and caring for them. We tend to the happy chickens and learn how to keep a garden flourishing. After exploration and free time, we move into art studies as a group. We wrap up our time together with lunch and study hall, or sometimes this time is used to complete anything leftover from our daily goals.

Elementary students are so filled with curiosity! What better place to let them put that urge to “wander and explore” to good use than outdoors!

It’s hard to sit in class all day long without either getting bored or suffering from learning fatigue. With all that Puckett Acres has to offer, there will be no boredom here!
