We offer 100% outdoor learning experiences on our 10-acre forested farm in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
Our classes will be held on our 10-acre forested farm in Wake Forest. Your learner will be able to explore the forest, care for the donkeys, chickens and barn cats. We will build up our soil and care for the gardens together. If weather is just too cold we will head into our cozy nest--the big red barn.
Our passion project for 2023 will be providing home grown produce to Plant a Row for the Hungry. logantrd.com/plant-a-row

Thankful Yoga all ages

Thanks so much for stopping by to learn more! I'm Becky, and I'm delighted that y'all are here. Children of all ages have been a huge part of my life (and great source of passion) for many years, which is the driving force behind my desire to develop new and healthy ways to educate and grow happy, well-rounded humans.
Years ago as a nanny, I learned the benefits of incorporating yoga into daily activities in younger kids. As I became an expecting mom, I used yoga to get me through the aches and pains of pregnancy. As an active mom, I found my kiddos joining in on my (yoga for sanity)practice, immediately noticing the positive effects this practice had on both mine and my little ones' temperaments. This realization led me to take the leap and achieve a certification in Children's yoga, followed by my 200 hour RYT and a Trauma Informed Certification that has been put to use at a homeless shelter for youth and young adults in Seattle.
With these new credentials, I longed for a place where my WHOLE FAMILY could practice together, as well as individually. Finding a yoga teacher wasn't hard, but finding yoga teachers who have experience with children, and especially the patience and ability to change gears quickly (for unique learners and personalities) was extremely difficult.
Along came OMstead Northwest, a family friendly yoga studio on our 1-acre Homestead in Washington, where I could leverage my experience as a nanny and a certified preschool teacher. More recently, we have moved across the country to Wake Forest where I’ve opened up Puckett Acres on our 10-acre farm! The dream and vision are still the same, we've just found an even dreamier location.
On the personal side, I'm married to an amazing man who supports all of my wild and crazy dreams, a mom of three amazing kiddos ( 11, 9 and 2, and who are known to assist with classes), two wonderful rescue dogs, two donkeys, and a whole bunch of chickens.
I want to send you a heartfelt THANK YOU for being a part of this amazing journey. I am beyond excited to meet all of you.
